What is this?
I live in San Diego, and I enjoy finding unique, local restaurants. In the years that I have lived there, I have found quite a few, and I am about to share my favorites with you.
In this day of mass merchandising and indistinguishable strip malls, I find myself increasingly drawn to honest, local flavor. If you are similar, you might enjoy this site.
I started this work in April 2005 as a hobby. I hope to produce a new review every few days, so the list is always growing. Poke around. If you like it here, remember me the next time you're looking to do something different and need an idea.

wow.. this is exactly what my friends and i need.. we never know where in san diego to eat! awesome!
